Lily Jue Sheng (b. 1987, Shanghai, China) is
a video artist/filmmaker who recently completed
the Studio Diploma Program at the School of the
Museum of Fine Arts.
Her current work focuses on liminality within
cultural spheres. She recontextualizes fragments
from their respective historical canons by simult-
aneously underlining and transcending mutually
unintelligible barriers. The resulting myriad of
images manifest from intrapersonal conclusions
that inform her aesthetic/conceptual bite. She is
now living and working in New York City.
